 Performance = Potential - Interference

Interference is the many things that hold us back from performing to our true potential

This concept really resonated with me and is true in many facets of life

One of the big things that hold us back in corporate life, in my view, is self-doubt and being unsure of our abilities to succeed in something new

This is what often makes us so nervous about a 

new role, 

a new job, 

new responsibilities,

and 

So, on( I have spoken to many colleagues about this )

The fact is, if you are being selected for something, then the people who choose you, believe in your capabilities

Once you internalize that and the fact that the initial period in anything new will feel out of your comfort zone, you set yourself on the path to succeed

Being unsure of anything new is inevitable ( and in a way, it's good because it propels you to learn) but it shouldn't be allowed to freeze you

Like the Mountain Dew ad tagline says " Dar ke aage jeet hai" ( there is victory beyond fear)

So go on and conquer your interferences and reach your full potential
