The South African all-rounder joined the Super Kings in IPL 2022. Pretorius was part of South Africa’s 2019 World Cup squad, where he bagged the Player of the Match award against Sri Lanka. In the 2021 T20 World Cup, Pretorius finished the tournament with nine wickets at a strike rate of 9.7.
