When police officer Sartaj Singh receives an anonymous tip about the position of felonious overlord Ganesh Gaitonde, he embarks on a chase around Mumbai in what becomes a dangerous cat- and- mouse game. Amidst the chaos, trappings of a loose demiworld are revealed. After being removed from the Gaitonde case, Singh begins his own disquisition as he works to save Mumbai from brewing doom. Flashbacks reveal some of the crimes that Gaitonde has committed through the times.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an Indian film actor, born on 19 May 1974 in Budhana, a small city and tehsil in Muzaffarnagar quarter of Uttar Pradesh. Siddiqui made his Bollywood debut in 1999, with a small part in Aamir Khan starrer, Sarfarosh. latterly he apprared in many other small places. His appearance in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday( 2007) paved way for other important places.
It was his part of a intelligencer in Aamir Khan products's Peepli Live( 2010), that first got him recognition as an actor. He came a ménage name post Kahaani( 2012), where he played the archetypal short- tempered intelligence officer Khan. Anurag Kashyap's gangbanger epic Gangs of Wasseypur followed which fostered his fame.
