SGT (Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary) University is a State Private University located at Budhera, Badli Road, Gurugram, Haryana, founded in 2013 with the founding mission “Access to Quality” and “Education for all,” propagating the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the great philosopher and social reformer who says, “Spread of learning is the best service to mankind.”
The University is committed to quality and is accredited A+ in the first assessment cycle by NAAC. It also has the status of UGC 12B. The University showed great promise in Teaching & Learning, Employability, Facilities, and social responsibility, resulting in a QSI Gauge rating of “DIAMOND” in 2022.
A humble beginning of SGT University, Delhi NCR’s top private university
SGT University is humble to be part of the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust. Following Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s ideals, the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust established the SGT Dental College, Hospital and Research Institute in 2002. It steadily added Faculties of Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medical Sciences, and other disciplines to reach the status of university, conferred on 24 January 2013 under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act No. 8 of 2013.
SGT University scaled horizontally by establishing Centers of Excellence like NRSC (National Reference Simulation Centre), CCSP (Centre for Cosmology Science & Popularization), CEAPS (Centre of Excellence for Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences), and institutionalized CRC (Corporate Resource Center), EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Centre), ACIC (Atal Community Innovation Centre), IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) – SGTU for focused attention and holistic development of students, faculty members, and Nation.

SGT University, besides being in the top private universities in India, is also highly rated. SGT has received several awards including the Diamond rating from the QS-IGAUGE ranking. The University boast of having Asia’s one and only National Reference Simulation Centre for Nursing & Medical Sciences, established in association with Jhpiego, Laerdal Medical India.
The University also has a dedicated multi-speciality SGT Hospital with NABL & NABH accreditation. The Hospital serves the local communities around the University and also provides practical exposure to students of medical courses.
