 As per report Apple quietly bought a start-up company from Paris called Datakalab last December. Datakalab is good at making algorithms smaller and using artificial intelligence to analyze images.

After Microsoft, now it's Apple's turn to invest in Paris. According to what we know, Apple bought Datakalab on December 17 without making a big fuss. 

Datakalab has been making algorithms smaller and analyzing images with artificial intelligence for seven years. Apple bought the whole company, but we don't know how much they paid.

 The European Commission knows about this deal. It's a big deal for Apple, but they didn't want to talk about it when we asked.
