Bombay Begums is a story of five women who are of different ages and categories. In which the 13-year-old school girl is Shai (Adya) and the 49-year-old CEO of the bank Rani (Pooja Bhatt). Whether a woman working in a luxurious corporate office, Ayesha (Plabita) or a woman who works in the body market, both Lily (Amrita) wants to work with dignity.

The story of Fatima (Shahna Goswami) seems to be swinging between family and career. Overall, these five women are fighting the norms of society for their dreams and relationships. This series of six episodes is basically on the issue of Me Too.

The sensitive but vivid issue of sexual harassment at the workplace places the story of this series through its characters, but along with this issue many other issues have been raised including gay sex, infidelity, live in relation, sexual harassment, pregnancy, menopause but After a lot of simultaneous shows, the effect of the series has become less and less after the third episode.

Though the number of episodes is 6 but the time of one hour is more. The story seems to be forcibly drawn. The film has not been able to show the female mind in the way the early episodes aroused hope. The physical aspect was more dominant in the story.

Talking about acting, actress Pooja Bhatt has been seen acting after a long time. She has been fantastic. He has lived up to his character's helplessness, pain and strength. Much more has been said about his silence than dialogue. They should keep on acting. Shahna Goswami has once again made her character special by acting well. Amrita Subhash has also managed to leave her mark.

Plabita Ayesha does justice to her character, while Adya Anand has also managed to grab attention with her role. The rest of the characters have also lived their roles well. Talking about other aspects, the dialogues of the series have become good, although there is a lot of English language. Despite the flaws of the story in total, this series can be seen for the strong performance of the actresses.
