 To take a screenshot on a Mac using a keyboard shortcut, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold down the Command key (⌘) and Shift key (⇧) simultaneously.

2. Press the number key that corresponds to the type of screenshot you want to take:

3: Takes a screenshot of the entire screen

4: Lets you select an area to take a screenshot of

5: Opens up additional options to take a screenshot of a window or menu

3. If you selected options 4 or 5, use your mouse to drag the crosshairs to select the area you want to capture.

4. Release the mouse button or trackpad to take the screenshot.

The screenshot will be saved as a PNG file on your desktop by default.
