To take a screenshot on a Mac using a keyboard shortcut, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold down the Command key (⌘) and Shift key (⇧) simultaneously.
2. Press the number key that corresponds to the type of screenshot you want to take:

4: Lets you select an area to take a screenshot of
5: Opens up additional options to take a screenshot of a window or menu
